Main Screen |
The main screen, shown below is used to load and save files, to activate image adjustment and to select the output file properties.

When Green Screen Wizard starts it loads a default foreground image. To select a background image for it click the load backround button.
You should see the following file dialog after clicking on the load foreground image:

You can then select the image you want by clicking on it. That will put the image in the window at the left. To load the image you can double click it or simple click the open button. If the background is in the wrong orientation you can select to rotate it clockwise or counter clockwise.

Green Screen Wizard will load the background and merge it with the foreground image. You do not need to tell the program the green to use as the transparent areas. It will automatically calculate that for you by finding the most common green in the foreground.

You can change the foreground in the same way, by simply clicking the foreground button and selecting a new foreground.

Green Screen Wizard will automatically re-compute the combined photo

You will notice a green progress bar that fills in green as the image process. The bar moves quickly at first because it is computing a low resolution image to be used by the adjustment controls. Once that image is finished the green bar will indicate how much processing has been done on the main image.
If you want to load a second image but keep the current setting then uncheck the “Reset Foreground OnLoad”.
If you want to save the image click on the save image button.

Green Screen Wizard can save images in three formats:
If you do not put a file extension on the name as show in the image then Green Screen Wizard will assume you want to store it as a JPG file. In other words if you wanted to save the image as a PNG file you would have to type “ManOnFlag.png”.
Green Screen Wizard can output many file sizes and offers both vertical and horizontal layouts. For some sizes Green Screen Wizard offers a HighRes version. A HighRes version have more pixels in it for a clearer photo but will dramatically increase the time it takes to process the image.

Green Screen Wizard will adjust the user interface to match the selected output.
Here is a horizontal output.

You can see that the photo of the man was setup to be a vertical photo. We can make adjustments to make it fit better as horizontal layout. We do that by activating the Adjust Image control by clicking on the Adjust image button the next section will discuss the Adjust Image control
The slider at the bottom of the screen will cause the photo to zoom in and out. The text at the bottom of the screen is the name of the foreground image.
